It reinforces your credibility to present your ideas with confidence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Don\u2019t say:\u00a0\u201cI don\u2019t have time to talk to you.\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\nWhy:\u00a0It\u2019s plain rude, in person or on the phone.<br \/>\nInstead say:\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m just finishing something up right now. Can I come by when I\u2019m done?\u201d Graciously explain why you can\u2019t talk now, and suggest catching up at an appointed time later.
